Every horizontal pixel is remapped by blending the identity line with Ken Perlin's quintic smootherstep — chosen because its second derivative vanishes at the endpoints, so the warp accelerates without a visible "seam" between centre and edge. At the default strength of 0.34, the centre matches a 21:9 monitor's 1.31× horizontal stretch exactly: faces stay round.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free unlocks the Smoothie warp on YouTube — that's enough for most casual viewers to fall in love with the feature. Why am I sending Telegram Stars to buy a license?
Ultrawider is built by one indie developer outside the standard SaaS payment rails (Stripe, Paddle and friends don't accept us due to geographic restrictions). Telegram Stars + Tazapay let us accept cards from any country with no platform middleman markup. You pay by card — Visa or Mastercard; no Telegram account needed. The Stars go to our team's TG account as the sponsorship transaction; in return we email your Pro license key within 5–20 minutes. You'll see TAZAPAY or JOYTIFY on your bank statement — that's the Stars charge. Because this is a sponsorship contribution (not a subscription sale), contributions are non-refundable as a matter of right — but we'll always make things right if something's actually broken on our end. Which monitors are supported?
Any ultrawide: 21:9 (2560×1080, 3440×1440), 24:9 (3840×1600), 32:9 super-ultrawide (5120×1440), or anything wider than 16:9. The extension auto-detects your viewport aspect and tunes the curve depth so the warp stays in the sweet spot regardless of display.
Which sites does it work on?
Pretty much anywhere that isn't behind a paywall-DRM. Twitch, Vimeo, Kick, most news sites, course platforms, podcast players, and many independent video hosts all work. Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, Prime Video use DRM that blocks the pixel access we need — those are fundamentally blocked, not by us but by the platforms themselves.
What if Pro doesn't work for me?
Sponsorship contributions are non-refundable as a matter of right — same model as Patreon, GitHub Sponsors, and Buy Me a Coffee. But we're indie and we care. If something's genuinely broken (key never arrived, double-charge, Pro doesn't work on supported sites and we can't fix it), email hello@ultrawider.net with your order ID — we'll either resolve the issue or issue a goodwill refund at our discretion. Does it work in all browsers?
Chrome 110+ and any Chromium-based browser of the same vintage (Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Arc). Firefox and Safari are not currently supported for the extension; the live playground on this page works in any modern browser with WebGL2.
How is my payment processed?
Payments go through Tazapay (Singapore) handling Visa and Mastercard. After payment your license key arrives by email within 5–20 minutes. Paste it into the extension popup or fullscreen HUD to activate.
